Writing Reflection 1

Most of us have many more years of writing experience, though, and should be able to notice more changes. So, ask yourself the same question. How has your writing evolved? What changes have you noticed in your writing over time?

Through high school I hard the hardest time figuring what kind of writing stylist that I would be and never could figure it out. I was often confused on what I wanted to write about. Typically I had a case of brain amnesia and forget what I was going to say.  Nevertheless, now with two active toddlers I still have that problem.

When I first started high school english I had the biggest problem figuring out how to even start the process of writing. I was confused and not able to understand what I was suppose to do, often feeling out of place.  After high school I took a few years off, got married and had children, I enrolled at TCC and started with a few prepatory classes to help with my English because it was about 7 years since I was in a class setting. I felt that I compelled to actually write again and this time it felt good to do it. I was a little confused but it wasn’t as stressful but more at ease.

The changes that I have noticed since I started this class that English is still a little bit of a challenge for me, but not as hard as it used to  be.  I have seen alot of change when it comes to my thoughts and ideas of writing. It comes alot more naturally to me than it used to be, but there is still alot of writing challenges to work on. My last challenge is a challenge and it is to keep my writing skills up to par and be happy with the overall result once finished.

  1. I used to have the worst time trying to begin my papers because i was never really sure how to begin the writing process. When it came time to begin my college career I thought seriously about trying to find a major that required the least amount of english classes. This is my second writing class since I started at TCC and I think my writing has seriously improved since I began. I’m glad to hear that your’s has too.
